Elderflower and elderberry herbal tea

The elderflower & elderberry herbal tea is a 100% natural herbal tea combining dried elderflower and dried elderberries. This unique combination provides a source of natural antioxidants. Available in a 75 g loose format.

The "Elderflower Herbal Tea" on its own has a floral taste and is ideal for herbal infusions, bread-making and cooking. In comparison, the "Elderflower and Elderberry Herbal Tea" has a fruitier taste.

Two ingredients only: dried elderflowers and dried elderberries. Naturally caffeine-free, this herbal tea contains no preservatives, no artificial flavours and no additives.

To prepare a cup, steep about 1 g of the blend (a heaping teaspoon) in 250 ml of hot water at around 80°C for 5 to 10 minutes. Then strain using a tea infuser (available on the Fruitomed shop). The longer the steeping time, the darker the colour and the more the compounds naturally present in the elderflowers and elderberries will be extracted. This herbal tea can be enjoyed hot or cold, plain or with honey or lemon to your taste.
